Acuatico Beach Resort & Hotel

The Acuatico Beach Resort is currently the new kid in the block at the 7-kilometer long coastline of Laiya. And found in the most sought-after beaches these days in Batangas at the town of San Juan.

Although the resort is on the ritzy side compared to other resorts within the area. The resort has a concept incomparable with other resorts.

What is more appreciated at the resort is the resplendent design of the holiday place. The Balinese stirred villas with fully furnished rooms to the well-designed garden. The blueprint of the place was well planned. The place if I could say was stunning.

Another utmost asset of the resort is their infinity-edge pool, which has a fine view of the ocean. (Additional credit for the designer of the resort.) Take note that a floating bar is set at the center of the pool that serves your favorite drinks till late evening. It has also a Jacuzzi, and for those on vacation with their children like me, a kiddie pool is at reach.

For the camera aficionados, Acuatico Beach Resort has a superb lighting system and definitely scenic at night. Don't forget to bring your entire camera gadgets or you may feel sorry if you forget to tag them around with you.

During our stay with had a Family Suite accommodation. Again I was impressed with the draw up of their rooms. The room feels comfortable, clean and modish. And guess what? Their rooms are equipped with LCD television as well as a satellite connections and the usual hot and cold shower.

Although their shower room is a bit diminutive, together with the room, there are not too much niceties like tables and chairs inside the room. Which I think is a must, for an up-scale resort like Acuatico.

Well, anyway you did not come to the beach to hang around inside the room. There are lots of good places to explore out there.

The resort has an Oceano Acuatico restaurant with a dazzling view of the pool and the San Juan Ocean. The eatery serves Filipino and international cuisine. Food is okay, and a little bit pricey.

However guest automatically gets a complimentary breakfast during your stay at Acuatico Beach Resort. You can choose between American or Filipino breakfast, and served with coffee and fresh fruits. Also included during your stay is the use of water sport facilities and bottled water.

The white sand beach is a bit rocky. On the other hand the rocks are not that sharp to hurt your feet. For the children or kids, use of beach sandal is recommended. Water is clear and clean, an ideal swimming beach.

I did not notice any lifeguard at Acuatico, which I feel the resort should have one for the safety of their guest, especially the young children at the resort. However, a security guard is evident within the resort grounds.

The ambience in the resort is very good during our stay. No earsplitting music or any karaoke machine that you can hear within the vicinity. Guest will definitely have a more relaxing break.

The staffs are friendly and very courteous including the owners. They make sure their guest needs are attended too all the time. As a whole the service of Acuatico is excellent.

In a way, the resort is not really that costly. When we check out of the resort we found out that there are no service charges or other hidden charges. With the complimentary breakfast and free use of its water sports facilities, and the added luxury experience at the resort, money spent is worth the services the resort has provided us during our vacation.
