Sunrise Cove Calatagan
Sunrise Cove is a site to take your family for getaway especially if your children love an outdoor getaway.
The holiday resort can be spotted at a secluded cove in Bagong Silang, in the beautiful coastal town of Calatagan. It is roughly three hours drive from Manila.
Calatagan by the way is situated in the southwestern tip of the province of Batangas, Philippines. Furthermore Barrio Bagong Silang coastline is covered with white sand and is nature filled with a variety of tropical plants and trees.

All accommodation has its own private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower. Rooms are clean and well maintained together with the fresh bed sheets and towels.

Besides swimming in the beach, one can ride a motorized bangka (boat) and go beach hoping around Pagaspas Bay. Likewise if you are into diving, an experience boatman can take you to a nearby diving area.
How about renting a bamboo raft, get to a place that is safe for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Have your lunch in the raft, bring your favorite drinks and float in the refreshing clear water till sunset.
Want a more exciting idea? Why not discover the mangroves of Bagong Silang and its neighboring barrios. Go crab hunting, and if you are lucky, have those fresh crabs at your dinner table. Calatagan by the way is known for their fresh seafoods.
The enormous property of Sunrise Cove is also an ideal spot to play beach volleyball, Frisbee or your kid first attempt to fly a kite.
And before I forget, Faro de Punta Santiago or Calatagan Lighthouse is just around the corner. It is a good idea to drop by the place and catch a glimpse of one of the oldest structures in Calatagan.
